Dear Ella, I’m really glad to hear from you and pleased to know that you finally have time to take a break and that you’ve decided to go camping in Uludag, Turkey this summer! I’ve not really spent a lot of time camping in the last few years due to being terribly busy with school, but I recall enjoying it immensely when I did have the time. It’s a nice way to unwind after a hectic week/month/year as well as connect with nature. However, you will find that the national park of Uludag does not have well-maintained and appropriately marked hiking trails, so that might defeat the purpose of going there. I would also suggest you to keep your trip short as camping is not everyone’s cup of tea and city girls like you and me might find it difficult to survive that long in the wild, without access to facilities we are used to. I have such fond memories of our last hiking trip together, and I would absolutely love to accompany you on this trip. Perhaps we could also invite Jason and Noah and make this a double-date.
