Dear Rose, I'm very glad that you agreed to house-sit and take care of my cat, Sassy, next week; you're a wonderful friend! As you know, I'll be in Athens from Monday, June 5th to Friday, June 9th, and unfortunately, I can't take Sassy with me because the hotel that we have booked does not allow pets. If it works for you, could you come in every day after your evening class to check on Sassy? I'm leaving the key under the mat, and you don't have to worry about buying food for her, as I have already set up her food and water dispensers to automatically dispense food twice a day, in the morning and at night. All you'll have to do is just see if she's doing okay and, maybe, play with her a little. You know how fond she is of you! While you're here, could you also water my plants? I got them at the farmer's market last month and they need to be watered at least once a day. I'm not going to burden you with any household chores as I have a cleaning lady that comes in on Wednesdays and tidies up, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to let her in at 2 p. m. on Wednesday. Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions! I may not be able to use my mobile phone in Greece as I have a local Canadian number, but you can always drop me a line on rosieandriri@gmail. com. Thank you very much in advance! Lots of love, Rosie
