Dear Hazzel, I heard from our friend Lorand that you are planning to visit the Philippines this coming October or November for a week. It’s quite a quick visit so let me suggest what are the things might interest you. You may consider the city of Vigan, it is located in the northern part of Ilocos and is just 3-hour drive from Metro Manila. I know that you are fond of old structure houses and this city has a numerous construction on it. Also, tons of good food and delicacies are to taste from this place. Since this province is a bit warmer in weather condition, I suggest you bring comfortable clothes with you. A cotton upper clothing and a short is perfect for you to roam around the city. Don’t forget to wear rubber shoes as well. I will make myself available for you in these months so that I may accompany you. I will also bring my car so you will not bother to rent for this trip.
