Dear Charlie, How are you and your family? I hope this letter finds you well. Although it’s such a short time since we saw each other, it feels much longer. First of all, I would like to thank you for accepting my proposal to stay at my home during my absence between 23rd and 27th of June, next week. As you know it’s my official visit, it’ll provide me with the lucrative opportunity of promotion in the company. My director has invited me to his place on 20th of June to prepare the outline of the meeting. So, I have to leave on the same day. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend to you. But, I’ll hand over the keys of my house to Mr Thompson, my neighbour. His house is just next to my house. I’ll give you his contact number so that you don’t face any difficulty while locating his house. I need one favour from you during your stay. I’ve my dog staying with me. He’ll need his feed on time. So, I have stored some raw beef and chicken in the fridge for him. Secondly, he’ll need to walk every evening. I hope you will enjoy his company during the walk.
