Furthermore, considering the costs, it is a privilege to hire a personal dialect mediator, while services provided online is free of charge. A recent date released by Google indicates over hundreds of millions people are accessing their translation service on a daily basic all around the world. Thus, the benefits of language translation apps enable it to grow popularity. On the other hand, something the auto-translation is not as accurate as a real person, for instance, using YouTube auto-generated translation from Korean to English ended up confusing the audience reading the English subtitles as often time the sentences are vague and grammatically wrong. Moreover, privacy issues are raised along with the apps. According to United State government, anyone can publish their apps on google play, or iOS store, over 30% of these apps is illegally collecting user’s personal information at the backstage program. Consequently, it depends on the users to carefully select thrust-worth services. To conclude, the affordability and time efficiency are the major advantages that translation apps stand out.
