Where as the author calims that this could effects the culture in general, and for the future of literalure it selfs, then he provides three resons to support his view. The professor refuts this claim and cast doubt on each reason. To start with, according to the reading, the decline in literature could lead the reader to miss a number of benefits, like exercise reader imagination. However, the lecturer refuts this point by explaining that there is other good books written in other field like science, which could help reader to stimulate their imagination. Secondly, the passage posts that the level of culture in general has lowered by replacing the time of reading by trivial form of entertainment like watching television or watch a music video. On the other hand, the listening challenges this point. The professor says that their is a brillant movies and music works that desrevse to be seen and they are not wast of time. Finally, the author argues that writting and the reading of literature is likely to decline because of the poor standered of today readers.
