The environment status in Vietnam
The environment status in Vietnam EdKnQ
The status of urban planning is not associated with the problem of waste treatment, wastewater treatment, etc. , so there is still a backlog in big cities, industrial parks, urban areas, . . . Environmental pollution is at an alarming level. It is estimated that out of a total of 183 industrial parks in the country, over 60% of industrial parks do not have a centralized wastewater treatment system. In urban areas, only about 60% - 70% of solid waste is collected, the infrastructure for drainage and wastewater and waste treatment cannot meet the requirements of environmental protection. Most of the wastewater contaminated with grease, cleaning chemicals, dyes, etc. has not been treated and is dumped directly into natural rivers and lakes. An example that has attracted public attention is the case of the Thi Vai River being polluted by chemicals discharged from the factory of Vedan MSG for 14 consecutive years.
