‘The best way to improve one’s English is to read short stories. ’ 7dBk
I disagree with the statement that reading short story is the best way to learn English. However, I consider that reading short story could be a good way to learn English. As short story could rise interest of reading English, at the beginning, learners may not have interest in reading long articles or essay, especially for the busy workers. For the short stories, they may only have 100-150 words. Learners may feel easy to read, and thus they will be interest to read the whole stories.
