A number of people lean towards sleep in tranquil and unilluminated bedroom, the remainder prefer a room which has faint light and some muffled hum. I choose to sleep in a room which is not illuminated and has calming murmurs. There are two reasons for me to sleep in a bedroom which is not having light and has some pleasing noise. Firstly the dark room makes the atmosphere less intense and secondly the calming noise gives a peaceful ambience. Both of which contribute to a peaceful and relaxing sleep.
