Some people insist that the most important thing to do among teenagersis studying history in order to be a well-functioning person in today’s world.Although I agree that it is an essential skill that needs to be learnt,I would argue that there exists a better way to solve the problems. On the one hand,it is reasonable to say that studying about previous events raises youngster’s awareness about the importance of historical buildings and the evolution of culture which has been passed through generations . For example,in Vietnam,people celebrate Lunar’s New Year to teach their child about the tradition and go to temples or pagodas to worship their ancestors. Therefore,when children are mature enough,they will ready to take responsibility for preserving historical building from being demolished and protect traditions to satisfy their religious.Secondly,children nowadays tend to forget about the national’s hero.It is such a shame that people who protects the country can not bear in stude

Although I agree that it is an essential skill that needs to be learnt, I would argue that there exists a better way to solve the problems. On the one hand, it is reasonable to say that studying about previous events raises youngster’s awareness about the importance of historical buildings and the evolution of culture which has been passed through generations. For example, in Vietnam, people celebrate Lunar’s New Year to teach their child about the tradition and go to temples or pagodas to worship their ancestors. Therefore, when children are mature enough, they will ready to take responsibility for preserving historical building from being demolished and protect traditions to satisfy their religious. Secondly, children nowadays tend to forget about the national’s hero. It is such a shame that people who protects the country can not bear in student’s mind. If schools did not teach history in class, young people might not defend their country in the war, leads to the loss of independence to another country. On the other hand, it is often believed that learning about the past offers no value in the world that rely on technology. Students think that it is significant to know about the use of computers, smartphones in order to not be outdated with the development of technology than subsidiary subjects. In addition, with the widely of network, people tend to surf the Internet to find information about past events and do not need to learn about it. As a result, history has not been a major subject in schools in recent years. From my perspective, I think that another solution such as learning foreigns language is more effective than studying about past events. It might help young people keep pace with the change of world when knowing more than one language is a huge advantage and involved in jobs and people’s life. In conclusion, although studying about the past helps teenagers to be grateful to national’s heros and preserve cultures, I am inclined to believe that it is better to learn new languages to function well in a technology’s world.
