The article elaborates on the reason causing the lack of sleep in teenagers and gives the solution for this phenomenon. Students now sleep less than before due to one main cause is their overuse of smart devices. Research shows that sleep deprivation in teens not only comes from the night time they spend on using smartphones: However, the smart devices themselves also put an impact on their suffering sleep. And as a result, adolescents who use smartphones most of the time have a greater tendency to have their sleeping time reduced and they replace their night time sleeping by the daytime. Because both sleep and smartphones have their own benefits, students must adjust carefully and equally to make sure using electronic devices does not detrimentally affect the quality of their sleep.
