The flowchart shows the procedure of lithography: a particular way of producing newspaper which consists of six main stages. First, the plate is through dampending rollers which provide a mixture of water and chemicals. This is to make non-image areas link repellent. Then, the plate transferred through a set of ink rollers for which ink is sticked to the image areas. Second, the plate then goes through a system of blanket cylinder which holds a rubber blanket, the ink sticks fast to the image on the plate and water adhere any part of the plate that has no image. Third, the plate passes through impression cylinder. The paper runs between blanket cylinder and impression cylinder, pressing image onto paper. Final stage, the printed image is dried with hot and cold air and put it on delivery box. In addition, the process of manufacturing newspaper describes that four main set of rollers are used in lithography which include: dampending system, ink rollers, cylinder and delivery pile.
