After watching the video, I have some comments about that. Firstly, we can see setup time for the meeting is 4pm; however, the Japanese is usually 15 minutes earlier, whereas the American is always on time. In cross-culture cooperation, people should take some detail notice about their partner, in this case, the American can come to the meeting earlier in anticipation of letting others waiting, especially partners from Eastern. In addition, in Eastern culture, peculiarly in Japan, receiving and reading name card carefully show their respect to others, whereas the American attach exaggerated importance to receiving name card.
