Statement of Purpose I Tony Jacob feels a great pleasure to write this statement of purpose as a candidate for admission to your master's program. I am interested in applying for MA in Human Resource Management Program for January 2022 intake. This program is a solid step towards my future career as a professional in Human Resource Management. And I think that my educational and practical background will help me to do that better. I completed my MBA program specialized in HR & Marketing from Mangalam College of Engineering, Kottayam, Kerala of Mahatma Ghandi University in the year 2014 to 2016 with 62% (first class) of mark. In the two years program I studied various materials relating to diverse aspects of business such as marketing, accounting and financial, leadership and management and e-commercial. Aside from my well-done academic performance, I had actively participated in many extracurricular activities, especially the volunteer works which helped me to develop leadership and time management skills. I believe that these particular skills and experiences will be beneficial to my further studies. My first introduction to Human resource management came as a result of an encounter in my working place. The result of this encounter incited my interest in the field and this aided my understanding of the roles played by human resource managers, especially in solving human issues in every organization. I have come to understand that the growth of any organization is dependent on the collaborative effort of the employees and productivity of performance is solely determined by the human resource manager. In practice, I worked for four years at 1) Le Maritime, Kochi and 2) Niraamaya Retreats Pvt. Ltd. In HR department. Through my work, I had earned a real experience and developed extra skills in communication and dealing with people. All of this increased my passion for this area and drove me to look for an opportunity to study human resource management in more specialized academic way. I believe that a postgraduate study from a foreign country will be a milestone in my career along with invaluable experiences that will allow me to become a successful, creative professional and assist me in accomplishing my goals. My decision to pursue graduate in the United Kingdom is underscored by my desire to be a part of the masters program at your institution which perfectly matches with the field of my interest. By studying under the guidance of distinguished faculty, I shall certainly be able to represent my potential to the fullest. I would therefore, feel obliged to be able to secure admission in your prestigious university and pursue my masters program.
