my family consists of 4 people: my mother, my father, i and my younger sister. Although we are all busy, we split the household chores equally. My mother cooks meals, does the laundry and shops for groceries. My father is a breadwinner who is responsible for the household finances. And he also does the heavy lifting in my house too. Because of being the elder child in the family, i always do the housework everyday. I do the washing-up after having meals. Cleaning the house everday and somtimes tidy up my messy roo. My younger sister responsibilities include helping my mom to prepare meals and taking out the rubbish three times a week. My younger sister and I take turns ironing clothes and feeding our dogs. I feel very comfortable when we share chores equally like this. Not only do we create a positive atmosphere for the family, but also the burden is less and everyone can have time to alleviate stress after a long day working and doing housework.
