The image depicts the various stages a honey bees goes through to mature into an adult. Overall, the bee first, starts laying eggs which hatch and later on, after four major steps they transform into adults. All of the steps mentioned takes approximately 34 to 36 days. Firstly, there are two sexes amongst the bees and the females lay eggs, which will be one or two in number and this cycle happens periodically every three days. After a period of 9-10 days, the process of hatching happens. Secondly, tiny bees known as Nymphs break their way out, Later on, in their cycle of life, they undergo a process called moulting, three times in particular. During this, we can notice the bees increasing in their girth. The image particularly illustrates the baby honey bees at 5, 7 and 9 days and the change in size is clearly noted. Finally, after the procedure of shedding, a young adult bee emerges. This, however, has to undergo maturation, which then leads to the emergence of adult honey bees.
