I believe this is a negative development because it may have an adverse bearing on the environment. Some people may think that expanding the tourism industry could do wonders for the country because it is one of the biggest financial sectors in the government economy. It could be true because there many companies that are financially viable in tourism. However, I would argue that the disadvantages of expanding the tourism industry outweigh the advantages because there are several environmental issues that require a large amount of funding to address. Water pollution is one of the clear examples of this. There is a great amount of rubbish which are disposed of by tourist nowadays so it wastes a large sum of money and time to improve.
