It seems to me that being an overseas filipino worker is one of the positive decision that I make to support my family financially. And for me it will help me to gain work experience, earn a higher salary and for personal growth. The negative impact of working abroad is being away from my family and friends and missing them. Sometimes, I tried to hide to them if I'm not feeling okay so that they will not think more about me. And since that I'm leaving with my employer even though I feel terrible I need to get up and do my job. Being ETEEAP student is my own personal decision that I should be proud of even though is a big commitment but the rewards are plentiful. Having a college degree it prepares me intelectually and socially and also leads to overall happiness, stability and self esteem.
