The first graph shows the number of deaths in Someland 1990 caused by some of the dangerous
diseases, like AIDS, and Malaria. . Etc.
As we can see, the disease that have the most of deaths is the TB with the average of 1. 8 million deaths,
and we find some similarities in the average of deaths concerning the Tropical diseases, Diarrhea, and
Malaria, between 0. 25 to 0. 5 million deaths. Then there is AIDS with less than 0. 25 million of deaths, and
finally the smallest amount of deaths caused by Leprosy with the average of 0. 1 million deaths.
The second graph shows the medical research funding in Someland 1990.
As it is shown in the graph, most of the medical research funding are for the AIDS diseases with the
average of 180 millions. Also there is the similarity in the average of funding between the Leprosy and
the Tropical diseases, which is about 80 millions. Then we find the Malaria and Diarrhea diseases with
the average between 50 and 60 millions. At last there is the TB which is less then 25 millions
approximately.
Summary:
The two graphs shows the deadliest diseases that it is being deal with in Someland 1990. We can say
that the deadliest disease in Someland is TB, which is very dangerous illness that attack the lungs of the
person and leads to his death after while of time, the other diseases are also deadly but not as much as
the TB illness, and we can say that the chances of healing from it are less than the others, that's why the
funding of the medical research are less concerning this disease. Also there is the AIDS, and as we can
see that there not a lot of deaths compared with the TB illness, but the chances to live with this disease
are quite high compared to the others, that's why the medical research funding are very high concerning
AIDS. The other diseases are between these two illnesses ( TB, AIDS), which means that they are quite
normal if we take into consideration the global medical research.
