The line graph ilustrates the total number of vehicles in England and Wales from 2000 to 2020 divided in 5 years while the bar graph compares the CO2 emissions measured in tonnes of cars, buses, vans and trucks in the same period splited in 10 years. Overall, there was an upward trend in the vehicles number in both countries and similar trend in the emission of CO2 by cars and trucks. In 2000, the vehicle number was approximately 20 millions and rose slightly to 36 millions in 2010, after this year the increase rate changed and the total vehicles in England and Wales reached a high of 60 millions in 2020. Cars had the highest value in all the given period, with a value above 2 tonnes in 2000, in the next 10 years this vale scalated slightly to 2. 7 tonnes and the maximum value was reached in 2020 with 3 tonnes in CO2 emission. Buses had the lowest value in CO2 emissions in all the period with 0. 25 tonnes in 2000, there was a slow increase in 2010 (0. 5 tonnes) and remained the same value to 2020. Vans in the only type of vechicle that had an increase and after a decrease with a value of 0. 6 tonnes in 2020. Buses had the same pattern that cars but with the third part of the car's value and reached the high of 1. 25 tonnes in 2020.
