There are four people in my family: my parents, my sister and I. We are too busy: my parents and my sister both work, I spend most of my time studying, so we split the household duties evenly.
My dad is in charge of doing heavy lifting and mending things around my house. The majority of cooking and grocery shopping is done by my mum.
As the oldest child in my family, I take up a large portion of household chores. Everyday, I am responsible for taking out the rubbish, sweeping the floor and washing the dishes. My sister and my mum prepare the meals, and lay the table for meals.
We understand the role of each family member; therefore, we are willing to share the households in order to relieve everyone’s duties, and give us more time to relax.
