The bar graph gives information about the population of USA in percentage, who were above 64 years, between 1900 to 2000. It is clearly seen from the graph that throughout the period the old-age population were increased significantly, in which the age group between 65 to 74 years were higher as compared to 85 and above. According to the image, population above 64 years was around 2. 9% in the year 1900; however, the ratio had doubled in 1960, and reached at its pick point nearly 7. 3 in 1990. Following that, it was slightly decreased in 2000. The number of people aged between 75 to 84 years remained steady with the percentage of 1. 0 to 1. 3% from the year 1900 to 1930.
