The pie chart illustrates the path taken by Anthropology pupils of a particular university after having completed their undergraduate studies. The table provides information on the payroll of the working anthropologists post five years. Overall, it is evident that majority of the graduates chose full-time work after finishing their degrees, while the least preferred option was choosing part time work with postrgraduate study. After 5 years, half of the students who made the choice of working in government sector were paid the highest salaries as compared to being a freelancer or working in a private firm. Post graduation, 52% of the students took up full-time work, which is over 3 times more than the second popular destination of working part-time that was chosen by 15% of the graduates. Full-time postgrad study and unknown destinations have an equal share of 8% each, whereas 5% of the undergraduates chose part-time work along with postgrad study. After 5 years, each of the 5% of freelance consultants and government sector employees were in the lowest income bracket of $25, 000-$49, 000, but employees in private companies were 10% under the same salary. Only 30% of these graduates working in private companies were paid over $100, 000. On the other hand, 50% of the graduates in government sector earned similar income, lying just ahead of freelance consultants who composed of 40%. Education at home is of significant importance in modern era. Few cultures advice their children to work hard enough to achieve their desires and goals. Although this motivates the children to stay persistent, it can sometimes lead them to have unrealistic goals that ought to be coupled with natural skills. The biggest boon a toddler receives is constant motivation and life advices. From making efforts to taking the first steps, to choosing career goals, children attain different lessons from different cultures. Pushing a child to work harder unleashes the potential, which he/she might not realize early in life. For instance, Thomas Edison, inventor of the light bulb, was given full-fledged support to pursue his career aspirations by his mother. Had she not changed his perspective early on, he would not have put his heart and soul into his inventions. Working hard and being consistent can often upskill oneself to an extent where certain areas of the brain start developing manifolds. Many parents are culturally inclined to imbibe values of working hard enough to achieve the impossible. This breaks barriers and children do not look at failure in a negative light.
