The chart depicts the resources of Energy Consumption in The U. S between 1980 and 2010 and estimated number of power units in the next 15 years. Overall, it can be seen the most significant resources of energy consumption is Petrol and Oil and it is predicted to increase in the projection years. Meanwhile, some other resources is predicted to be level off. To begin, there are 3 types of the most significant fuel to be used as an Energy by U. S Citizen, which Petrol and Oil, Coal and Natural Gas. As it showed, Petrol and oil appeared as the highest sources of power which accounted for 35 Quadrillion of units. In the first ten year, it experienced marked fluctuation, however it recovered and started to rose steadily even predicted to maintain to grow up to almost 50 Quadrillions units in the year 2030. In 1980, Coal stood at just over 15 Quadrillion units before it started to grew noticeably over the period given. Coal projected to be the second highest power sources to U. S because it could be added around 5 Quadrillions of units in 10 years. For Natural Gas, it started with 20 Quadrillion units then it dropped the number before started to fluctuate for several years. Natural gas is predicted to be plateau by the 2030. The least significant sources, which are Nuclear, Solar wind and Hydropower, similarly stood at less than 5 quadrillion of units and had a slow growing in trends then maintained to stable. The projections of these fuels are not as high as the others, could only be provide less than 10 quadrillions of units.
