The graph represents the percentage of radio and television audience in the UK throughout the day from October – December 1992. The units are measured in percentage. The graph shows a comparison of the UK population over 4-year-old. The chart shows the comparison between radio and television in the UK from morning 6 am to next day morning 4 am. Radio listens to most in the morning while television is watched most from noon to midnight. In the morning at 6 am less than 10 % population listens to the radio, after 6 am the graph starts rising up and between 8 am to 10 am around 30% population listens to the radio. This is the peak time for radio. After 10 am the graph starts reducing, from 2 pm to 4 pm the percentage is more or less 10 %. But at 4 pm the graph spikes a little to more than 10% and after 4 pm it continues to reduce. From midnight 10 am to 4 am the graph nearly reaches Zero. For television at 6 am 0 % population watched television, but the graph increases considerably more than 0%. The graph reaches to more than 40% from 6 pm to 10 pm as most people come back from work. But after 10 pm the graph drastically falls to around 0% between 2 am to 4 am.
