Conventional methods that are used clinically include radiological methods such as chest X-ray, computed tomography (CT), low-dose computed tomography (LDCT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET). CT is widely used, but because it exposes the patient to very high doses of radiation, LDCT was used, but radiological techniques generally require experienced personnel and expose patients and medical staff to ionizing radiation that is not pleasant and also not very accurate, generates a lot of false-positive responses, is expensive and sometimes time-consuming, and is not suitable for early diagnosis. Non-radiological and more invasive methods such as endoscopy, bronchoscopy, cytology, and biopsy are costly, time-consuming, false-positive, and invasive responses with pain and scratching for the patient, in addition to invasive methods requiring interventions that any interventions that occur with the body's biological tissue is equal to a risk of infection, and can have side effects for the patient. The ideal technique used to screen any disease, especially cancer, requires some of the ideal characteristics listed in Figure 2:
