The chart shows changes in household types between 2003 and 2026 in Uk. There are 3 types of families such as a single person, married couples, and single parent. Firstly, in 2003 amount of single people was 6 million, but by 2026 it gradually increased to 10 million. Secondly, in 2003 married couples had the highest number of households, but by 2021 steadily declined to 8 million. And from this year to 2026 there were no differences. Thirdly, the number of single parents is 2 million people and by all this year it did not level off. In comparison with married couples, lone people had slight fluctuation. Overall, all types of households had changed despite single parents. But the most significant difference was between married couples and single people. Looking from an overall perspective it is readily apparent that households with single person raised, on the contrary, married couples dropped.
