Transport methods in the European city 1960 - 2000

The bar graph illustrates major four travelling methods used to travel in European city in year 1960, 1980, 2000. According to the chart in 1960 most travelers preferred to walk and its just below 35 per cent. And also used cars, bus or bike as a travelling method is around 5 per cent, 18 per cent and 25 per cent respectively. By the way car had a dramatically increment since 1960 to 2000. In 2000 it had been just passing the 35 percent. Although over the past years used bike or travelled on foot dropped to around 5 per cent and 9 per cent. However there is a fluctuated pattern in travelling by bus. it rose up to 25 per cent and then dropped to 15 percent. Overall when the time passed Europeans more preferred to use cars than any other transport methods. According to the chart it is clearly shows in 2000 all transport methods dropped except cars.
