The graph reports on the number of knife crimes from 2011 to 2019. It is shown that knife offences have slightly dipped from 2011 to 2014 however it continued on a steady increase from 2015 onwards. The number of offences started of at 30, 000 cases in 2011 and has since then decreased slightly down to 28, 000, 26, 000 and 25, 000 in the following 3 years. However, from then the number of offences have since been on a steady increase over the next five years. From 25, 000 cases in 2015 to 35, 000 in 2017 and 45, 000 in 2019.
