Today the problem of migration from rural areas to cities is becoming an acute problem from year to year. It happens because villages are severely underdeveloped. This paper will attempt to discuss the main reasons why migration occurs and ways of solving this problem. There are a number of occasions, why people migrate to urban areas. Firstly, because the employment level in countryside is quite lower than in cities. And it is also widely acceptable, that the living standards in urban areas are much more higher than in villages. Basic infrastructure are week, in some regions there are not so usual things, like: hot water, gas supllies or central heating. Medicine level is also a big problem, it is not qualified staff or modern technologies in hospitals of Nevertheless, the problem of migration to cities can be solved by the government. And one of the most efficient sollutions is improving the quality of life in rural regions. Villages are in need of increasing basic infrastructure like roads, shops, hospitals. The second decision of this issue is boosting employment level by investing in agriculture. They can relocate existing farm businesses from urban areas to rural regions. For example some families in Switzerland has their own business in mountains. Enterpreneurs grows up a cows and make cheese, earns by this for living. To sum up, nowadays migration to cities becomes an awful problem. However there are some sollutions of this issue, discussed in this paper. All, that people need is boosting an employment level and improve their living standards.
