Overall, it’s clear that there was a significant change in the TV viewing platform, with viewers preferring Flat-screen over conventional TV. Another noteworthy trend was that the popularity of hand-held devices such as Tablets and Mobile phones experienced an upward trend whereas Laptop and Desktop Computers showed a declining tendency.
Firstly, in 2009 the proportion of viewers opting for conventional TV occupied 34%; this, however, dramatically plummeted to only one in twenty 10 years later. Conversely, over the same period, Flatscreen Tv was a less than popular choice with only 8% selected by the viewers in 2009, this percentage swole(swell) to more than a quarter (27%) in 2019.
