The two pie charts compare the Television viewing habits of 18 to 25 year old Canadians over the course of 10 years from 2009 to 2019. Overall, it’s clear that there was a significant change in the TV viewing platform, with viewers preferring Flat-screen over conventional TV. Another noteworthy trend was that the popularity of hand-held devices such as Tablets and Mobile phones experienced an upward trend whereas Laptop and Desktop Computers showed a declining tendency. Firstly, in 2009 the proportion of viewers opting for conventional TV occupied 34%; this, however, dramatically plummeted to only one in twenty 10 years later. Conversely, over the same period, Flatscreen Tv was a less than popular choice with only 8% selected by the viewers in 2009, this percentage swole(swell) to more than a quarter (27%) in 2019. Additionally, handheld devices saw a sharp/ impressive/ remarkable increase between 2009 and 2019, skyrocketing/increasing from 15% to 26% and 5% to 19% for mobile phones and tablets, respectively. Interestingly, the changes of Laptop and Desktop Computers over the course of 10 years were the most even one, dropping slightly from 18% and 20% to 12% and 12% respectively.
