The two maps illustrate the main changes which take place in the city of Lynnfield in 1936 and then later in 2007 It is clear that there has been the appearance of residential and commercial meanwhile the natural and agricultural sites have been disappeared in 2007. As far as the northwest of the map, in 1936 a majority of the area had trees. There were 3 trees in 1936 while the trees were narrowed in 2007. In addition, there was a river that flowed through the northeast area in 1936, however, the river was destroyed and then the residential area was built in its place in 2007. In the middle of the map, the post office, sweet shop, and butchers were located in 1936 but the sweet shop and butchers were converted and replaced by supermarkets. Under the shop, there was a natural area then it was made room for a shopping center. In 1936 And the flower under the natural area was pulled down and the travel agent was constructed in 2007. In the southwest of the map, there was a cycle path in 1936 but it was knocked down and erected by road in 2007. Besides, the government offices and farmland were situated in the southeast but in 2007 it was destroyed followed by the construction of museum and golf course in the initial place
