The two maps illustrate changes in the geographical region of Denham over the years, right from 1986. In general, Denham has become more crowded in terms of accommodation over the years.  In the first map, which is dated back to 1986, Denham was having limited residential areas with more farmlands. Furthermore, Primary school comprised of a single building with two shops and a post office nearby. The residential buildings were mainly concentrated near the upper-central part of the town. In the center of the town was a large house with a garden surrounding it. To the west one can see the river stoke, which is still flowing near the town with a bridge in its upper part to connect this town to the west. However, turning to the second map, the number of accommodations has increased two to three times between 1986 and the present, Moreover, Primary school now has more buildings supporting the population needs. In general, the island became more crowded with entertainment facilities after the introduction of tourism. Overall, tourism facilities made greater development on this island, while it became congested. However, it is good no notice that trees were not chopped down during the renovation works. In the first picture before the construction of tourist facilities, there was no accommodation and the whole island had almost nothing except few trees. Furthermore, the area was completely calm and quiet. However, turning to the second picture, this island provides a lot of accommodation facilities and a large restaurant. The reception block is located close to the restaurant and these buildings are linked through vehicle tracks. From the reception center, people can go to the pier through the vehicle track. Moreover, the swimming area is also available near the beach for visiting tourists. Tourists can walk on the footpath to reach the beach from their cottages.
