At a fleeting glance, the noteworthy feature of the graph is that there were maximum number of male professors in the Engineering faculty, in the year 2012. Secondly, females were the maximum in education department. Analyzing further, there was a major difference in the percentage of male and females professors in the Education department, as the former was approximately 78% and the latter was just 22%. Also, in the Arts department, number of females professor were higher than males by 16 percent. Moreover, male professors were double than that of females, in the Business faculty that is 62 percent.
On the further observation, there was minor difference in the proportion of male and females professors in the Medicine department, with just 1%.
