The two map show the changes in Melvin Island between 2000 and 2010

The given maps depict the transformations that had occurred in Melvin Island from 2000 to 2010. Overall, a lot of changes took place and also some new infrastructures were added until the last mentioned year. Motel was present in the north-west direction of 2000 map, which was converted into Hotel during 2010. Similarly, garages were transformed into Chalets just below the Hotel in same direction. Turning to the south-west corner, seafood restaurant was constructed at place of Tearooms. Farmland and village, which was present on both sides of seafood restaurant, remained the same. However, Marina was introduced near the village in the south direction. Another Farmland was located in the centre of 2000 map which was completed changed to swimming pool and spa. Furthermore, Golf course was built at the place of woodland in the north side slightly above the centre positioned farmland. Finally, the south-east woodland area was converted into different portions, one was the same woodland in eastern side and other portion of it was taken by Airport in south-east corner.
