The two given pie charts give information about energy production in France in 2 years 1995 and 2005.
Looking at the pie chart, it can be seen clearly that Coal, Gas, Petro were the 3 main sources types while Nuclear and Other sources only took the small proportion of producing energy in the two research years.
In 1995, Coal, Gas, Petro contributed a slightly equal percentage of energy production at 29, 08%, 29, 63%, 29, 27% respectively which were 4. 5 times higher than Nuclear sources at 6. 4%. Only 4. 9% of total energy was made from Others.
In 2005, Coal and Gas continued to be the two main sources of energy generation, which showed a higher percentage than 1995’s figure at 30, 93% and 30, 31% respectively. Besides, Petro was the only source having a reducing proportion at 19, 55%, lower 9, 72% than the number in 1995. Nuclear and Others contributed 10, 10% and 9, 10% in generating energy, those figures were 4, 5% higher than 1995’s figures.
