The two diagrams highlight major changes which have taken place in Village Park in the last ten years. Overall, the whole village has experienced a significant modernization and become much more crowded than before. As for the outside of the Village Park, although the entrance is still in the same position with ten years ago, a new cycle path has been constructed surround the village. The location of the tennis courts also stays unchanged, but there is a double increase in the number of courts. The football pitch and the car park both have been enlarged, especially the car park now can be used for 50 people instead of 20. Moreover, the woods have been demolished and replaced by new facilities including toilets and cafe. A children's park and a children's soft play area have been built in the place which used to belong to children's play area. Finally, the pound in the bottom of the map has been converted into a boating lake and a total new picnic area has been erected.
