The two diagrams below give specific information about overweight phenomena in one country, in which the bar chart illustrates the variation in the proportion of obese adults from1965 to 2015, while the pie chart provides data of adult population weight range in 2015. Looking at the bar chart in more detail, we can see that the percentage change in the first 20 years iswas not significant. From 1965 to 1985, the proportion of obese adults acountsed for approximately 46%. After that, there was a rising trend from 1985 onwards. Following this, the number of adults who are were overweight or obese from 1995 to 2015 all rose in range of 60% to approximately 75%. Moving on to the pie chart, it is clearly that the weight range of the obese adult population was the highest with 34%. Conversely, severely obese adult population weight range was the lowest with 6%. Finally, the percentage of weight range which include healthy and overweight adult population was 29% and 31% respectively.
