Overall it can be seen that more girls studied foreign language than the boys and French was the most popular out of three languages.
To begin with, in 1984, just under a high proportion of girls were studied a foreign language, which was higher than the proportion of 2007 to 40 %. The number of boys who studied foreign language was 30 % in 1984 and approximately 25 per cent in 2007 respectively.
By analysing the second graph, the French were the maximum studied language in both the year. In 1984 and number of French learnt students who were 50, which was almost double of 2007. The second most popular language was German and it comprised 20 in 1984 and around 50 in 2007. In contrast, the number of Spanish learning students was far lower than French, it was constituted only 5 and 10 in 1984 and 2007 respectively.
