The given table illustrates information about the overseas development aid from four countries including South Korea, Sweden, The UK and USA in billions of dollar in 2011 and official aid from all countries in the period from 2000 to 2011. Overall, Sweden gave the highest percentage of aid for overseas development likewise there was 60% aid shortfall on the required amount in this period. Turning to the details, as is observed in the first table, almost all countries shared significantly less aid as was promised except Sweden. Besides, the agreed international target of international aid was 0. 7% in 2011. The aid promised was 8 billion dollar for South Korea while it was 5 billion dollar for Sweden. The highest aid promised was USA which was 105 billion dollar. On the contrary, the delivered aid by these countries was far less than the amount that was promised. Wherein, South Korea delivered one fourth of what was promised. In addition, there was 30 billion dollar which delivered by USA, though that was highest amount. Looking at the given second table, from 2000 to 2011, the requirement for international aid by all countries was 3. 16 trillion, achieved percentage of this aid was about 40%, 1. 27 trillion dollars. Also, 60% of aid required ware shortfall during this time as international aid.
