The table shows existing and projected changes in the proportion of people over 65 in the populations of three countries from 2015 to 2030. 0a6DQ
The data illustrates the current and forecasted shifts of the ratio of people over 65 in three countries from 2015 to 2030. Units are given in percentages.
Overall, the countries can be split into two groups. The first group is formed by United Kingdom and Hungary, because they both show almost similar proportion of the people all over the years. On the contrary, Canada falls into the second group, because it starts with the lowest and ends with the highest value in comparison with the states from previous group.
With regards to the first group, the trend is almost the same for UK and Hungary, they started from 18. 1% and 17. 6% in 2015, respectively, and grew roughly by 1% each 5 years, and they will have 21. 6 % and 21. 3 % of people over 65 by 2030, correspondingly.
On the other hand, Canada started from lower percentage, but grew faster, by around 2% each 5 years, which will bring Canada to the top 1 country by this parameter in the 2030, with 22. 7%, according to the prediction.
