The given data indicates and predicts the average change in number of people over the age of 65 in three various countries, Canada, Germany and UK. The overall trend is increase in the percentage in the span of 45 years from 1988 to 2030. The table gives the information from the past 12 years from 1988 to 2000 and predicts the coming years till 2030. During the last 11 years of 20th century along with year 2000, all three countries experienced atleast 0. 66 % increase in percentage of seniors in the country. In Germany the growth is highest, increasing significantly from 20. 46% to 25. 32%. However, UK sees a minimum growth during these years, increasing from 14. 23% to 14. 89%. Moreover, Canada's population for people over 65 years, increases from 16. 32% to 20. 67%. However, In all three countries during the first 30 years of 21st century, there is a prediction of atleast 5% Increase in the life expectancy of the people over the age of 65. This time UK is predicted to experienc the highest growth, from 14. 89% to 20. 35%. In contrast, Germany might experience the least growth, ranging from 25. 32% to 30. 42%. In Addition, Canada is expected to experience 5. 68% increase which is atleast 1% more than what was experienced before.
