The table illustrates the people of the UK travelled by bus in between 2009 and 2001. The scale is in percentage. To start, it is manifest from the table that, the highest used of bus for shopping purpose around 65%, but it had observed a significant declined by 9% and 13% from 2010 to 2011, respectively. A visiting friend followed this, shared the same number of percentage by nearly a fifth (19%) in the year 2009 and 2011. Then after, there was a slight incline in visiting friend to 23%, who travelled by bus. In contrast, the day tour was at 7% in 2009, then it went up to 12% and also had an equal proportion in 2011. However, the other two reasons were the least in the UK, who travelled by bus. Only 5% of people used bus for study and 5% for work, respectively, while it had experienced rose by more than two-fold (9%) in 2010 and 2011. Although only 2% of people chose bus in 2010, no one pot to travelled by bus in 2011. Overall, it can be seen that the greatest proportion of people in the UK used bus for shopping and visiting friends, while other three were the least in the given period.
