The table illustrates the percentage of the global market of companies that produced cell-phones in two years, 2005 and 2006. Overall, it is clear that Nokia made up the highest market share in both years. While Nokia, Motorola and Sony E witnessed a slight growth, others had a decline throughout the given time. Of the companies which had developed tendency, Nokia held 32. 5% of sales in 2005, which rose to 35% in the next following year. Motorola also saw a remarkable rise in turnover from 17. 7% to 21. 1% in this period. Meanwhile, the market share of Sony E was just roughly a third as high as that of Motorola, with 6. 3% and 7. 4%. Looking at the rest of the details, 12. 7% of the market was occupied by Samsung in 2005, then that statistics went down to 11. 8% in 2006. The proportion of global sales of the LG conglomerate in 2005 was just 6. 7% and marginally dropped to 6. 3% in the next year. The figures of BenQ Mobile also experienced a decrease but more substantial trend, the statistics nearly halved in 2006 compared to that of 2005. Finally, there was a fall by 3% in market share of other manufacturers, from 19. 2% to 16. 2% in the two-year interval.
