Information about expenditure in different goods in various countries in the year 2002 is provide by the table. Overall, the items that people in all countries bought more were food, drinks and/or tobacco, having a colossal difference with the spending in other items. On the contrary, the items that countries did not spend so much in, were leisure and/or education, being no more than 4%. The expenditure in clothing and/or footwear was not much more than the last mentioned, as the maximum number is 9%. For the category of foods/drinks/tobacco, the country that spends more in those products is Turkey, which doubles Italy and Sweden, which are the countries with less expenditure in this category. The country that spends more money in clothing/footwear is Italy with a 9%, contrary to the last category, and the country that spend less money for these items is Sweden, but the percentages do not vary much between them, except for Italy. In the category of leisure/education, the numbers are similar among the countries, but the one that spends the most in these items is Turkey again, with a 4, 35%, and the country that spends the least in these items is Spain, presenting 1, 98%, the half as Turkey. Finally, Turkey seems to be the country that has the major expenditure among the 5 countries.
