Looking from an overall perspective, it is obviously apparent that France was the world’s most popular destination. However, the most amount of money earned belonged to USA. Starting with the number of travelers, about 83 million tourists visited France, and the USA was the second visited nation with roughly 66. 7 million. The following year witnessed a slight rise about 1. 7 million in France but a considerable increase to nearly 70 million in the USA counterpart. Although Spain and China stood at around 57. 6 in 2012, the opposite trend was seen with Spain’s figure reaching approximately 60. 7 million and a small drop to 55. 7 million in China. Besides, this data in Italy rised merely 1 million. Regarding to tourism revenue, this figure in the USA experienced a substantial rise from about 126. 2 billion $ to nearly 140 billion $ compared to around 56. 3 and 60. 5 billion respectively in Spain.
