The table below shows the percentage use of four various fuel types to generate electricity in five Asian countries (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Japan) in 2005. These countries present differences in their kinds of fuel they use. Putting ahead the nuclear energy, Japan is the most country which use this type to produce electricity with 49%. Similarly, South Korea which uses 33%, whereas Malaysia and Singapore don't depend much on this kind of energy with less than 20% and then comes Thailand which use no Nuclear energy at all. Moving to coal and lignite which is significantly used by Malaysia and Singapore with 61% and 42% respectively, while in the other countries it's barely relied on with less than 6%.
