The table represents data about the usage of four different sources producing electricity, measured in percentage, in five Asia countries, namely Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and Japan in 2005.
Taking nuclear first, Japan had the highest percentage just under a half. Then South Korea sources leaded with 33%. In contrast Thailand did not used any nuclear. Turning to the coal and ignite, it was mostly used fuel in two countries, Malaysia and Singapore. Malaysia used the largest proportion to produce its electricity at 61%, while Singapore generated 42% energy from coal and ignite. By looking at petroleum products it can be seen that they are used by Thailand for creating 36% energy. In contrast, other countries used a very small proportion of petroleum. Another one, hydro and wind power were used for 48% and 19% in South Korea and Thailand respectively. Other countries namely Malaysia, Singapore and Japan generated less that 5% energy using wind and water. In addition, significant amount of electricity has produced from other sources. Singapore, Japan and Thailand created around 40% of their electricity from the fuel.
To sum up, none of countries have depended on the same fuel resource.
