The pie charts provide us information on the employment status of Australian students immediately after graduating from secondary school in the years 1980, 1990 and 2000. Overall, The employment rate and percentage of enrollments followed a completely opposite trend. The rate of employment increased and the percentage of students enrolling for further education decreased over the same period. The proportion of students unemployed varied marginally. It is noticeable that in 1980, 50% of students enrolled for further studies, however this rate is dropped to 38% in 1990 and falls only one percent in 2000. The Employment rates were at 40% in 1980 this value rose up to half in 1990 and 55% in the year 2000.
