The tabular chart depicts the percentile of adults in urban and rural areas who participated in different leisure activities in 1990 and 2010. As presented in the tabular chart, 61% of adults participated in urban areas while 71% of adults reading as a hobby in rural areas in 1990. The percentile of the adults was slight increase in both urban and rural areas, which accounted to be 78%. In photography also, proportion was increase. While 7% in urban and its double percentile in rural areas did photography in 1990, the ratio in 2010 were about 10% higher for both. Further, in animated play and playing, the percentile was one in ten and above a fifth respectively in urban and rural areas. The proportion minimally increased by 18% and 26% respectively. In 2010, even though the percentile of the adults in animated play in urban areas stood at 10, in rural areas its ratio was decrease around 4%. In playing the percentage remained unchanged for rural areas while it went down in urban areas to 14%. Overall, in all activities, the proportion was higher in rural areas as compared to the urban areas. Also, maximum percentile of adults preferred reading in both the urban as well as rural areas.
